So, is this the 1 that I want? You betcha. When it arrives at the end of November, the 1-series Coupe - re-engineered from the ground up, powered a twin turbo engines and packing plenty of energy-saving technology – will install itself at the top of the 1-series tree.

This time it’s Audi’s turn, with the first official picture of the soon to be revealed Audi A5 Sportback. And it’s such a shock – we’d never have guessed this is how it would look! The Audi A5 Sportback is Audi’s latest niche car in its quest to fill every niche of car (and then some) – whatever the needs and desires of the car buyer Audi is aiming to fulfill it.
Volvo is the latest car maker to play tease with concept shots of their new cars, this time with the Volvo S60 for 2010. I’m really not sure that teaser shots work as a marketing ploy (which, let’s face it, is all they are). For a start, 9 out of 10 of the concept shots we see bear nothing more than a passing resemblance to the final car.
